Robert Atkins was a famous researcher; in 1972 he published a book about loosing weight and how to maintain a healthy diet plan. Atkins diet plan forces on eating limited carbohydrates in daily meal, and stay away from heavy meals, including, meat, wine, fast foods, etc.
