Symptoms of Intestinal Worms in Dogs

Intestinal worms are the most common problem in dogs and cats, these intestinal parasites are developed from a specific bacteria larva and eggs in the dogs intestinal, these larvas may become tapeworms, thread worms, hookworms or roundworms.

What are the signs & symptoms of intestinal parasites in dogs?
You may observe the following abnormalities in your dog, which will confirm the presence of intestinal parasites.

  • A dog grinding his teeth most of the day, it can also happen during his sleep too.
  • Dogs like to rub their back on the ground.
  • Increase in appetite with a weight lose is the pet symptom of such dogs.
  • Dogs with worms in stomach mostly desire to eat chalk, clay and lick walls.
  • You may also notice bloody stools.
  • Tapeworms can easily see if you examine early morning feces of your dog.
